Consultative Meeting of the WHO Technical Advisory Group on Measurement of Healthy Ageing (TAG4MHA)

Between April 12 and 14, the consultative meeting of the Technical Advisory Group on Measurement of Healthy Aging (TAG4MHA) is being held in Geneva. Several objectives will be sought during this important event:
To finalize the core indicators for monitoring the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2023).
To draft recommendations and next steps for the measurement of intrinsic capacity and functional ability.
To obtain recommendations for addressing the measurement challenges specific to action areas (ageism, age-friendly, integrated care, long-term care) of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing.
To obtain recommendations for developing Ageing Survey Module for WHO World Health Survey Plus (WHS+).
To set the process for reviewing and finalizing measurement Technical Products (TPs).
To develop a work plan for 2023, 2024 and 2025 (target setting, effective service coverage cascade, global estimates, TPs).
