Corona Immunitas Ticino
Corona Immunitas Ticino is part of a national initiative called Corona Immunitas, led by the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+) and supported by the Federal Office of Public Health, several cantons, and numerous companies. The Corona Immunitas research program was launched in March 2020 with the ultimate goal of providing reliable epidemiological data that would enable authorities to make important public health decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Corona Immunitas Ticino is a population-based seroprevalence study conducted by the Institute of Public Health ica (IPH) of the University of Lugano (USI), the Department of Business Administration, Health and Social Affairs of SUPSI, in collaboration with the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) and several other partners in the area such as Centro Medico and BeeCare home care.
