Nursing Homes during the COVID-19 pandemic

This project is grafted within the COV-RISK study (conducted by IRB in collaboration with CTU-EOC, and IPH-USI), a longitudinal study of seroprevalence from SARS-CoV-2 in Homes for the Elderly (CpAs) in Ticino, and focuses on two main objectives:

- Assess the cognitive health status of the elderly population (+65) residing in CpAs in Ticino (SARCA-TI, funded by ADiCASI and conducted by IPH-USI).

- Measure the impact of the virus on the mental health of staff and residents, as well as perceptions of the pandemic and restrictive measures (Corona Immunitas Ticino -Nursing Homes staff & residents, funded by the Swiss School of Public Health and conducted by CCA-SUPSI together with IPH-USI).
